This End-User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and WHALI TECHNOLOGIES LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales, for the BatteryBae software application ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use the App on Mac computers that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. This is a licence, not a sale; we retain all ownership of the App.
BatteryBae is a novelty entertainment app. It plays light-hearted, suggestive ("flirty") spoken lines in response to your Mac's battery and charging state. The content is comedic innuendo and is intended for adult users (17+). It is not intended to offend; you can mute it, set quiet hours, or disable any trigger at any time.
The App runs locally, works offline, and does not collect or transmit your personal data. It reads only your battery level and charging state via the operating system. It requires no microphone, camera, accessibility, or administrator permissions. See our Privacy Policy.
Purchases are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record. A valid licence key unlocks the full App. We may validate your key over the internet from time to time; the App includes an offline grace period so it keeps working without a constant connection.
We may provide updates and additional voice packs. Updates are delivered through a signed update mechanism and are included with your licence at no extra cost unless stated otherwise.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in this Agreement limits your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. On termination you must stop using and delete the App.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales.
